On Saturday, August 25th from 10am – 4pm the Baxter Animal Hostpital (1060 Lorne Street, Unit #3) will be hosting DUNK THE VET. There will be a yard sale, kids games and prizes, and door prizes. Also, our Hot Dog Cart will be open special this Saturday on our lot across the street. Come out and have some fun!

A new Facebook group, “Plenty of Fruit”, has been started for the Sudbury area. It’s goal is to be an “online dating service for fruit”. They area hoping to match people with excess fruit with those interested in picking it. Sounds like a neat idea to us.

Nickel Belt MP Marc Serré will be in Capreol to make an important funding announcement
regarding CN which will be followed by a community BBQ. All are welcome. Proceeds will be donated to the Capreol Food Bank.
